GLASSJAW To Finally Release Their Don Fury Sessions Demo

Don Fury

Prior to recording their classic 2000 debut album Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence, Glassjaw recorded their Don Fury Sessions demo tape with producer producer Don Fury (Snapcase, Agnostic Front). News was originally broken by Fury last week on his Facebook page but then deleted, and now Glassjaw has officially announced the release.

The Don Fury Sessions demo tape is out March 7 on vinyl… and hopefully digitally, too. Pre-orders are available here.

  1. "Pretty Lush"
  2. "One Eight Becomes Two Zeros"
  3. "Ry Ry's Song"
  4. "Majour"
  5. "Motel Of White Lotus"
  6. "Matchbook Blackbook"
  7. "Harlem"
  8. "Train In Vain"

"Today, Glassjaw and Revelation Records team up to announce the release of the Don Fury Sessions for the first time on vinyl," wrote Glassjaw of the release. "Recorded in 1998 at Don Fury Studio at 18 Spring Street Nolita NYC, the eight songs were the beginning of the materialization of Glassjaw's full depth of sound and creativity – going on to become the basis of the band’s debut album Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence. The original tracks are now remastered by Don Fury himself and put together for vinyl release limited to 1998 in Opaque Yellow (Canary) with a release date of March 7th 2025."
