American Psycho Soundtrack

Sumerian Records has been rolling out singles surrounding their American Psycho comic series over the past few months, and now they're releasing all of 'em as one album! Sumerian Records will release the American Psycho Comic Series Soundtrack – as well as the hardback graphic novel – one October 25. Pre-orders are available here.

"We are beyond excited to present this soundtrack as a true celebration of music and storytelling, brought together by some of the most talented and dynamic artists in the industry today," said President of Sumerian Comics, Nathan Yocum.

"This project is a testament to the power of collaboration, and we can't wait for fans to experience how these songs complement the world of American Psycho in a bold and electrifying way. It's more than just a soundtrack—it's a journey into the dark and thrilling atmosphere that this series embodies."

The American Psycho Comic Series Soundtrack runs as follows:

  1. Puscifer "The Algorithm"
  2. Ice Nine Kills "Walking on Sunshine (feat. Reel Big Fish)"
  3. Perturbator "Dangerous (feat. Kabbel)"
  4. Carpenter Brut "Eyes Without A Face (feat. Kristoffer Rygg of Ulver)"
  5. Unlike Pluto "Sweet Dreams"
  6. Royal & the Serpent "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?"
  7. Diamante "Love Is A Battlefield"
  8. Weathers "Killer"
  9. Charlotte Sands "Miss Murder"
  10. Kittie "Eyes Wide Open"
  11. Ramsey "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?"
  12. Gvllow "Eyes Without A Face (feat. Mothica)"

On the Pat Benatar cover, Diamante added: "Since I can remember, I have always been a huge fan of songs from the 80s, especially of the female powerhouse vocalists of that time. In particular, Pat Benatar has always been a hero of mine, and I love nothing more than a good challenge. So for me, recording this version of 'Love Is a Battlefield' was a lifelong dream come true."

The American Psycho comic series is a reimagining of the 1991 novel American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis (or 2000 movie if you never read the book), and follows two characters – the murderous Patrick Bateman and Charlene Carruthers, a social media-savvy millennial whose descent into violence mirrors the chilling escalation of her predecessor.

The American Psycho comic series was written by Michael Calero (Quested), features artwork by Piotr Kowalski (The Witcher, Bloodborne, Sex), and was colored by Brad Simpson (Kong of Skull Island, Stray Dogs, Blade Runner Origins).
