Earlier in the week the now-defunct Isis decided to surprise their fans by announcing their extremely well-loved record Panopticon would be rereleased next week via Ipecac Recordings, specifically Apr. 29. Well, rereleased in the sense where it got remastered by studio magician Mike Jussila (Children of Bodom, Mors Principum Est, etc.). You can check out "Backlit" below and I'm sure you're going to notice the difference. Who knew an album that already sounded so huge could sound even bigger?
No word on if there will be physical releases of the record or just digital- nothing comes up for it on the official Ipecac Recordings website as of me writing this.
