YouTuber Ben Eller makes a pretty serious point in the below video, if not at funny as hell. Skip to 0:08 before you take to the comments section bitching that "it's just shredding" or whatever, because it's not. Eller takes the time in his videos (including this one) to break down the mechanics of being a functionally awesome guitarist and I hope anyone who takes the instrument seriously watches these. Because seriously… if you're gonna shred, you better be able to actually shred!
