Cynic is finally back! It's hard to say that this is one of my most anticipated releases of 2014 because (spoiler alert), I've already heard the album and it's fantastic. It's a continuation of all the great things from their previous albums, although I'm not quite sure if we can still classify it as metal.
Either way, here's your first taste of the new album, it's called "Lion's Roar."

This lyric video isn't about to win any awards, but I love the simplicity of it (not that I watched it past 10 seconds in). Cynic's new album Kindly Bent to Free Us is out February 18th in the states and Feb. 14th overseas.
