Earlier on this month, we heard a rumor that Carcass was going to tour the United States with The Black Dahlia Murder and Gorguts. While we heard speculation of reveals by the band before, today, we can confirm the confirmation, via a new interview! Someone go get the confetti and party hats!
In the above interview with Shoot Me Again, Carcass guitarist Bill Steer announces the band will do a tour of the United States around March of next year with Black Dahlia Murder.
While there wasn't any mention of Gorguts being the support aside from some forum posts, readers previously pointed out bassist and vocalist Jeff Walker mentioned Gorguts and Noisem as an opener. I suppose it's still a little too early for the group to know specifics regarding openers given there aren't even dates for the tour yet. Now all we have to do is anxiously await the official announcement! The only thing that really sucks about this tour is that every other tour that passes through the U.S. has to live up to it. Sorry, other brutal tours!
