Dude, when does Chino Moreno ever si† down a† his house and †hink, "y'know, I'm just gonna chill †his mon†h"? Anyway, he's coming back with some new Crosses (†††)!
By way of Instagram photo that you can see at the top of this page, Crosses announced that they're back in the studio and apparently all geared up for the next release. The first two were really cool in a really different way than you'd expect to hear Moreno on, but damn are they awesome. I love that it's all the darkness you've ever gotten about Deftones, but jammed into more a claustrophobic and bleak setting that never really relents into anything positive. So now we've got new crosses, new Palms is coming out pretty soon, and Deftones are pretty much touring their life away. I have only the upmost respect for Moreno, but that dude needs a day off.
