Ghost has been nominated for three Grammis Awards (basically Sweden's GRAMMY awards) in the Album Of The Year, Artist Of The Year, and Hard Rock/Metal Album Of The Year categories.
Ghost is no stranger to the Grammis Awards, having been nominated six times and winning three over the years in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Album – 2014 for Infestissumam, 2015 for Meliora, and 2016 for Popestar. Ghost was nominated last in 2019 for Prequelle in the same category, but lost to Tribulation's Down Below album.
Other nominees for the Hard Rock/Metal Album Of The Year category include Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, The Halo Effect, and Watain. Because unlike America, Sweden actually gives a shit about heavier music. The nominees are:
