ROB ZOMBIE's The Munsters Is Gonna Be Long

And now we know who's playing Marilyn Munster.

Rob Zombie has been unveiling the cast for, and filming, his new Munsters movie over the past few years. Zombie recently revealed that Pat Priest will play Marilyn Munster, adding that "For once the rumors are true." Though the real new chunk of news here comes from original Eddie Munster actor Butch Patrick.

Patrick recently spoke to the 20TIMinutes podcast (via Dread Central), where he mentioned that the movie will be damn near three hours. Which isn't exactly what we expected from a family-friendly PG movie (and not a gritty, horrific reboot). But hey – at least Patrick sounds confident in the movie.

"This movie is going to kill in a really good way. It's a very long movie, it's like 2 hours and 38 minutes … but I've seen footage and I've seen where he's going with it and it's going to be great, it really is."

Zombie also recently revealed that Jeff Daniel Phillips will play Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie will play Lily Munster, Catherine Schell will play Zoya Krupp, Dee Wallace will play the host of the talk show Good Morning Transylvania, and Dan Roebuck will play Grandpa Munster. The Munsters movie is currently being filmed in Budapest. Check out some shots of the set here as well.

Rob Zombie will also hit the road with Mudvayne, Static-X, and Powerman 5000 later this year. Get those dates below.
