I'm really enjoying the new Converge record, All We Love We Leave Behind, which hits stores on October 9th via Epitaph. It's a sludgy continuation of their landmark 2009 release Axe To Fall. We've already heard/seen one track, "Aimless Arrow" and now the band has released the follow-up, "Shame in the Way" via Pitchfork. It's the Converge sound at it's finest. Chugging riffs, punishing drums and great screams from frontman Jacob Bannon. Take a listen and let us know what you think. The band will be heading out with Kvelertak and Torche next month. "Umbra Vitae aptly represents an approach to extreme metal that isn't afraid to play by feeling and emotion."
