Desalmado is a Brazilian death/grind band that originally formed back in 2004. Their current lineup consists of Caio Augusttus (vocals), Estevam Romera (guitar), Bruno Teixeira (bass), and Ricardo Nützmann (drums).
While the band is still proudly carrying the death/grind subgenre torch, their recent single, "Hollow," shows a more subdued and experimental side in the same evolution as Cattle Decapitation's recent and gradual shift. The single has slow, yet hefty riffs with a plodding, modern tenacity equal to Angelmaker. Check out the atmospheric and dense track in the new music video now.
