Katatonia will release their b-sides and rarities compilation Mnemosynean on October 1, just in time for the cold weather to start hitting. The compilation spans everything from "Scarlet Heavens" recorded in 1994, up to tracks recorded during the The Fall of Hearts sessions in 2016 opus.
Mnemosynean includes a new band biography courtesy of music journalist Eleanor Goodman, as well as full lyrics and background to information on the tracks as described by founding members Anders Nyström and Jonas Renkse, along with other close Katatonia collaborators. The artwork for Mnemosynean was been created by long-running Katatonia visual artist Travis Smith.
