Formerly Named "Herd Immunity Fest" Seeking Fans Help To Set Up Festival Grounds

It was supposed to be the first hard rock show in the U.S. since quarantine, but Great White beat them to that feat. Nevertheless, the formerly-named Herd Immunity Fest (now The Mini Fest) is still scheduled to happen this weekend, although it almost got all canceled. Now the organizers asked fans for some help setting up.

Static-X, Dope, Bobaflex, Adelitas Way, Saving Abel, and Sponge are among the bands scheduled for the three day festival outside the Q&Z Expo Center in Ringle, Wisconsin. In case you're wondering how safe this festival is going to be, the promoters sent out a call to arms earlier today:

“So with that weather we had Tuesday, cut off a day of getting things set up for the Mini Fest,” began the message. “So if you have time and would like to help us get everything set up, TODAY Wednesday about 9am if you can come out to the expo to help that would be great. GOOD NEWS …… Looks like the rest of the week is going to be very nice.”

They also made sure to use a professional image for the post, which made no mention of payment of any kind:

Shortly after they offered a progress report. “Today weather has been on our side. Thank you to everyone that showed up to help us set up our fencing. Work in progress.”

It should be noted that Wisconsin has seen an uptick in new coronavirus cases, reaching a high of 964 cases reported today. Of the 41,516 cases reported in the state so far, the county where the fest is taking place had a reported 1,843 cases.

The organizers of Fyre Festival reached out and commented "looks great."
