Bay Area doom experts Mountaineer have just released a moving new melodic track in the form of a music video for "The Weeds I Have Tended" off their killer upcoming album, Bloodletting, out May 22nd, 2020 on Lifeforce Records.
Clayton Bartholomew (guitarist) comments:
“For me, The Weeds I Have Tended (like the rest of the songs on the album) is about being confronted with past mistakes and being forced to look them in the eye. The takeaway is that it is alright to reinvent yourself personally and it's also alright to shun the people and things from your past that you can no longer relate to. For the video, we used a lot of symbolic imagery to convey this, mortality and motion being the main ones."
