Bassist Jeff Matz and guitarist Matt Pike got together recently to start working on High on Fire's next record. While that's interesting enough, the real question here is who they'll get to drum on the record.
High on Fire parted ways with founding drummer Des Kensel in 2018. They first had drummer Nick Parks (Gaytheist) filling in, but for the past year have had drummer Chris Maggio (Wear Your Wounds, ex-Trap Them, ex-Coliseum) with them live. No official replacement for Kensel has yet been announced.
