For all of Ash Advilsen's talk about how Spotify is not paying out enough money to independent labels, the man clearly understands the promotional value of the software, as today, my buddy Anthony pointed out to me that Veil of Maya's new album, Eclipse, which isn't out for another 11 days, is streaming in full on Spotify. Interestingly enough, there has not been much hoopla made about this, so perhaps this is a giant social experiment…or perhaps an accident that needs rectifying.
