BLACK TUSK Steamrolls All On New Song "Gallows Hill"

This might be Black Tusk's greatest song yet.

black tusk 2019

Black Tusk have just dropped a new song called "Gallows Hill" and it kicks every single ass that it can possibly kick. It's got heavy metal guitar harmonies, a punk attitude, and more stoner riffs than you're going to know what to do with at those speeds. The song comes from the Savannah True Crime Compilation, which is part of a larger effort to build a museum dedicated to the weirdness of Savannah, GA.

You can check out that effort on IndieGoGo here and read more about the song below.

“In Colonial America in from 1692-1693, our country underwent an actual witch hunt that has repeated itself, in various forms, over and over again up to the present day. ‘Gallows Hill‘ is inspired by the history of the Salem Witch trials, in which innocents were persecuted by those who were afraid of anything different.

When we were asked by Graveface to contribute a song to a comp dealing we the subject matter of cults and serial killers and fear of the unknown, we felt it fitting to write about an event that truly cemented the rule of mass hysteria into our cultural and political systems while highlighting a segment of our societies penchant for persecuting a set of ideals or belief system or even just the way a person identifies themselves or how they choose to live outside a set of norms established by religion.

Inspirations for the song aside, this is also the first song we’ve written with longtime collaborator and new guitar player Chris “Scary” Adams. He recorded TCBT for us and did this song as well. We’ve just built a new studio, so be on the lookout for more from us very soon! But in the meantime, we hope you enjoy ‘Gallows Hill‘ and a huge thank you to Ryan from Graveface for making this a possibility.”
