Not content with simply releasing a new album titled The Nothing with Korn, guitarist Brian "Head" Welch has confirmed to Good Company that he's working on a solo album.
Welch says he's currently working with Breaking Benjamin guitarist Jasen Rauch, Underoath vocalist Spencer Chamberlain, and ex-Flyleaf vocalist Lacey Sturm. Welch says he's "almost done" recording the record, which will include a cover.
"I'm working with Jasen from Breaking Benjamin, and I'm talking to Spencer from Underoath about possibly doing something. And Lacey from Flyleaf… She is singing on a cover song, but I can't tell you which song it is. It's gotta be a surprise."
No word on if Welch recruited any of his Love And Death bandmates for this solo project. Love And Death included Red drummer Dan Johnson, Islander guitarist JR Bareis, and bassist Michael Valentine.
