Holy Fawn's new album Death Spells just hit shelves and you might want to considering grabbing a copy. The band reminds me a lot of the more ambient, darker stuff Baroness did on Yellow & Green, and maybe with just a touch of what Health is up to these days in the vocals. I also genuinely cannot tell if toward the end of the song there's some Deafheaven-style screaming going on with effects, if it's just a ton of guitar feedback or a little of both. I'm guessing the it's all the former.
As for the video, it's pretty gloomy. So very fitting.
