The release date is March 22nd. The movie, based on the Motley Crue autobiography, The Dirt, is set to be released on Netflix on Friday, March 22nd.
Vince Neil spilled the beans immediately after leaving Netflix's offices to watch a screening of the film, writing:
Wow!!! Just left Netflix offices. Just saw “The Dirt” movie!! Fuckin awesome!! Can’t wait for everyone to see it! Released March 22!! Yea!!!

The cast was announced earlier this year: Rapper Machine Gun Kelly has been cast as drummer Tommy Lee, English actor Douglas Booth has been cast as bassist Nikki Sixx, Daniel Webber (The Punisher) was cast as Vince Neil, and Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) is Mick Mars. There will be an actor portraying Ozzy Osbourne in the movie as well, actor Tony Cavalero.
No word on plot, but if Ozzy's involved, you know they're going to have a scene based on this infamous anecdote from Behind the Music:
