It's been three years since Infernus, but Hate Eternal is back! The band's usual lineup of guitarist and vocalist Erik Rutan (ex-Morbid Angel, ex-Ripping Corpse) and bassist J.J. Hrubovcak (Divine Rapture, ex-Mourning) are of course in play here, but now they've welcomed a new face to the fold. Everyone welcome drummer Hannes Grossmann, whose work you know from Alkaloid, Blotted Science, Howling Sycamore, Obscura, and Necrophagist.
According to the band's Facebook, Grossmann is in the studio laying down drums and the process has officially begun. It also seems safe to assume the band will be recording the album at Rutan's Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida, but there's been no official word on that.
