Kataklysm has put out two EPs and 12 full length albums between 1993 and 2015, all of which have been released through Nuclear Blast. So it really shouldn't be a shock that Kataklysm has renewed its contract with the label and will release a new album called Meditations in April 2018.
Kataklysm frontman Maurizio Iacono says the band has been "secretly been preparing and working throughout the entire year — similar to the way we wrote our classics In The Arms Of Devastation, Shadows & Dust, and Serenity In Fire — using the best technology available: a rehearsal room, garages and our basements." So that sounds promising, right?
No singles are available for the album yet, but you can check out a trailer below!
