METALLICA, SLIPKNOT Among Bands Featured In WWE 2K19 Video Game Soundtrack

The release of theWWE 2K19 video game is right around the corner, and WWE has just announced the soundtrack to the game. Good news, there is a whole lotta metal on there for you to hear while perfecting your hurricanranas and shining wizards.

What's cool about this year's soundtrack is that the songs were picked by the wrestlers themselves, and with WWE having so many metalheads on the roster, that means there are some cool metal and hard rock tracks. Take a look at some of the picks:

Triple H's pick: Metallica – "Spit Out The Bone"
Seth Rollins' pick: Slipknot – "Override"
Daniel Bryan's pick: Awolnation – "Passion"
Baron Corbin's pick: Shinedown – "Devil"
The Miz's pick: Bullet For My Valentine – "Skin"
Sami Zayn's pick: Rancid – "The 11th Hour"
Alexa Bliss' pick: Fall Out Boy – "Champion"
Elias' pick: Post Malone – "Rockstar"
Ric Flair/Charlotte Flair's pick: Metro Boomin & Offset – "Ric Flair Drip"
AJ Styles' pick: Eminem – "Survival"
Samoa Joe's pick: Migos – "Work Hard"
The New Day's pick: Wale – "Ungrateful"

The entire playlist is up for streaming right now on Apple Music.

Bullet for My Valentine were quoted as saying "We've known about the Miz's love for heavy music and BFMV for a long time, so to be picked by one of the company's biggest and baddest superstars, it feels amazing!"

Rancid's Lars Frederiksen notes "I was completely floored to find out that Rancid's song "The 11th Hour" was going to be included on the WWE 2K19 soundtrack. Not only have I been a lifelong fan of the sport of kings, but I have been playing 2K since it was Smackdown. Two of my favorite things, punk rock and pro wrestling together in the same place, makes perfect sense to me."

The game is out Tuesday, October 9th. Pre-order here.
