BURTON C. BELL Continues To Drop Industrial Bangers With "Technical Exorcism"

Former Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell is back with his second solo single, this time in the form of the industrial earworm "Technical Exorcism". No word yet on a debut album from Bell's solo project, but we're two songs into things thus far and they're both pretty damn good!

Bell recently played his first-ever solo show on June 13 at 1720 in Los Angeles, CA. Bell's current live band is guitarist Henrik Linde (The Vitals, Dren), drummer Ryan Junior Kittlitz (All Hail The Yeti, The Acid Helps), bassist Tony Baumeister (ÆGES), and Stewart Cararas.

In a recent interview with the Nu Pod podcast, Bell said he's working on one single at a time, as he feels releasing a whole album will make a whole bunch of songs get lost in the mix. So y'know, maybe don't hold your breath for that debut album.

"No. I'm working on individual singles at a time. I do have a record's worth of music. But I'm adopting the hip-hop strategy where instead of coming up, releasing a single and then the whole album comes out a couple of weeks later, and then a couple of weeks later, when that album is out, the momentum of the single and the whole record just kind of slows and becomes sluggish and just almost crashes.

"So I learned watching hip-hop artists and other artists as well, [where] they would just release a single at a time, keep that momentum, keep that spotlight on them and just release a single every few weeks and just keep that momentum going."
