The band behind some of the best progressive death metal to come out of U.S., DECREPIT BIRTH, has recently announced a short U.S. west coast mini-tour for their home-state of California with ANIMOSITY and ANTAGONIST. DECREPIT BIRTH has steadily been building one of the most admired and revered careers in brutal death metal underground during the past several years, and they have definitely earned their recent Nuclear Blast signing. There is no doubt that these tour dates are a good chance to see the best death metal California has to offer in their native primal environment! Dates are coming up in a just few weeks, so all the potheads in Cali should make sure to get out to support them:
Sept. 9, 2008 at The Chain Reaction in Anahiem, California
Sept. 10, 2008 at Cobalt Cage in Canoga Park, California
Sept. 11, 2008 at Karma in Victorville, California
Sept. 12, 2008 at San Jose Skate in San Jose, California
Sept. 13, 2008 at Thee Parkside in San Francisco, California

Above is the little chat we had with San Fransico's ANIMOSITY during this year's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. A bunch of topics were discussed, but the most notable were the smelly feet, especially those of their guitarist, Chase. His feet smelled so bad that I can still smell it just by typing this post. Check out the interview and make sure to check out all of our ANIMOSITY clips.

We have begun posting our exclusive coverage of this year's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival . To kick things off, ANIMOSITY vocalist Leo Miller steps in and interviews one of his favorite bands, New Orleans' SOILENT GREEN . The band talks about the hard times they recently went through, how their local scene has rebounded since Hurricane Katrina, what's next for the band, as well as tour stories with Miller. This was truly an awesome interview, as Leo really stepped up and hit a homerun with this bad boy. Big ups, Leo! We will be posting a new interview with ANIMOSITY later in the week, as well as new interviews with SKELETONWITCH, MEGADETH, ARSIS, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, HATE ETERNAL and more. All this week on Metal Injection!

> Florida-based death metal masters DEICIDE are streaming their entire new album, 'Till Death Do Us Part on their MySpace page. The album will be released in the U.S. on May 13th via Earache Records.
> Not to be outdone, CULT OF LUNA have posted the title track off their upcoming album, Eternal Kingdom, on their Myspace page. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!
> Our brothers from another mother, MetalSucks have posted an amazing interview with our good friend Ray from FULL BLOWN CHAOS. Ray tells a truley fucked up story about a tour stop where a stripper was all too willing to do literally anything to meet Phil Anselmo.
> ANIMOSITY vocalist Leo Miller has posted an entry on the awesome Blackmarket Activities blog about the night that a bunch of clowns out-drew them in Cleavland. Check that out here.
