TMZ reports that the official coroner's report for the tragic death of Pantera/Hellyeah frontman Vinnie Paul has been released.
They are reporting that Vinnie died of an enlarged heart (technically dilated cardiomyopathy) and a heart condition known as severe coronary artery disease.
TMZ notes that Paul died of natural causes. They previously reported he died in his sleep. Paul passed away on June 23rd in his Las Vegas home.
Vinnie Paul was officially laid to rest Saturday, June 30th at 3:33pm surrounded by friends and family in Arlington, Texas. Among the people who spoke at Vinnie's funeral were Grim Reaper guitarist and Vinnie’s longtime friend Nick Bowcott, one of Vinnie and his brother Dime's idols, guitarist Ace Frehley of KISS, SiriusXM Liquid Metal host Jose Mangin and Paul Shortino of Rough Cutt.
Vinnie was then put to rest, buried in a KISS Kasket just like his brother, right next to his brother at the Moore Funeral Home in Arlington. Phil Anselmo sent in a brief tribute, while Rex Brown poured his heart out in a statement online.
