Nine Inch Nails surprised everybody a few weeks ago by releasing a promised new album. But today's announcement? That seems a little unexpected.
Nine Inch Nails announced their first show of 2017, it will be headlining the final night of Panorama Festival in New York City. The event takes place on Randalls Island, July 28-30.
Other headliners include Frank Ocean, Alt-J, Solange, Tame Impala, and A Tribe Called Quest with featured acts such as MGMT, Spoon, Belle & Sebastian, Cashmere Cat, Future Islands, Tyler, the Creator, Girl Talk, DJ Shadow, Vance Joy, Nick Murphy, Nicolas Jaar, Vince Staples, Jagwar Ma, Mitski, Glass Animals, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and Cloud Nothings, and Angel Olsen among others.

On Friday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. EST, three-day and single-day GA tickets and VIP passes will go on sale here, with a special pre-sale for American Express card members on Thursday, Jan. 12, at 10 a.m. EST. Single day GA tickets are $99 and 3-day GA are $282, single-day VIP passes are $230 and 3-day are $650.
