The Rainbow Bar & Grill is well-known as Motörhead frontman Lemmy's favorite place to eat and toss a few brews back, and in his memory, the establishment is paying homage to the man in quite a big way. According to Metal Injection TMZ, the grill is currently renovating its patio area and will be renaming it Lemmy's Lounge. The new patio area will also be using Lemmy's favorite bar stool as a focal point for the area, presumably retiring it from use by other non-Lemmy butts.
No word on if they'll re-craft the bar into the shape of Lemmy's muttonchops, but here's hoping. Though as an added bonus, there's going to be a bronze statue of Lemmy erected within the establishment as well!
There aren't any mockups of the statue online that I'm aware of, but I can't imagine the monument will be anything less than fantastically done.
