Conan rules… i doubt any other talkshow would have them on
I'm a huge LOG fan, but even I'll admit that I was a little disappointed by Friday night's performance. Conan (though he didn't say it out loud) was acting like he hated the idea of them coming on the show, and the band's performance was less than stellar, if that. Randy's vocal's quite honestly made me cringe, and the rest of the band seemed like they were having a helluva time trying to get "into" it. Also…. why the hell would they do Pathetic?! They should have at least done More Time to Kill or Walk With Me in Hell if they were trying to push sacrament! Ah well… at least it's a step in the right direction. All Hail LOG!!!
you have to remember man, it was in a REALLY non-intimate place…kind of like a practice space.
yeah, im also dissapointed with the vocals. the rest was amazing as usual, except for getting into it for sure. Randy souded weak, very soft, like he was barely pushing the growls out. and whats with the verse>? he growled it poorly instead of doing that heavy yelling like on the record, which adds a lot of dynamics to the song. i personally think he was a little nervous, maybe just not drunk enough.
