This is the second year in a row that the Gathering of the Juggalos commercial has snuck up on me. Yes, it's been a whole year since the last one. And, this time, they clearly put far more budget into this commercial. The length of the video has DOUBLED from around 15 minutes to half an hour of Juggalo shilling. Also, they clearly stepped up their budget, with what some might call a "plot" for the whole thing, and even got Vanilla Ice to guest star with infomercial regulars DJ Whats-his-Name and Sugar Slam.
The lineup is even more ludicrous than ever, although auspiciously less metal than in the past, but besides jug favorites like ICP and Twizted, they booked MC Hammer, the aforementioned Vanilla Ice, Ice Cube, Kittie, Saliva (who they go crazy over) and the most credible band on the bill is CKY. In terms of ironic comedy, I would have to say this was the least funny of all the three informercials. The joke is getting a little old for me, and they really just phoned it in this time.
