TRAP THEM Goes For The Jugular With "Luster Pendulums"

Trap Them continues to be heavier than you.

Trap Them continues to be heavier than you.

Trap Them sounds like they grew up in Stockholm, practiced next door to Entombed for years, and has an infinite supply of rage and HM2 pedals. Instead, the band hails from Washington and probably still has an infinite supply of rage and HM2 pedals.

Take the band's new track "Luster Pendulums," for example. It clocks in under three minutes and sounds like it was exhumed straight from the grave, cobwebs and all, though with a slightly more tremolo-picked black metal vibe than "Hellionaires," and certainly more than the band's 2014 trudge through sludge Blissfucker. Different punches to the same bruised and bloodied face though, a face Trap Them has been mercilessly annihilating since its 2007 debut album.

Trap Them will be releasing Crown Feral on September 23 via Prosthetic Records (pre-order here), and will be hitting the road with Yautja this November (dates below the track).
