Kylesa has been on indefinite hiatus since April 2016 and its members have since gone on to do some different projects. Guitarist and vocalist Laura Pleasants has formed The Discussion, and now guitarist and vocalist Phillip Cope has announced his new project Oakskin. Much like Kylesa, the band is slow moving and generally heavy in that super distorted, spacey post-rock sort of way.

Check out Oakskin's debut song "Prey" below and keep up with the band on Facebook regarding more new music (and hopefully an album) here.
