Murder in the Front Row is a book every metalhead should absolutely own. Now, it has been turned into a documentary about the Bay Area scene and it seems like a must-watch as well.
Based on the trailer alone, we see all four members of Metallica are in the film, Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson of Megadeth, Gary Holt, Alex Skolnick, Chuck Billy, Mark Osegueda, Rick Hunolt, Robb Flynn, Phil Demmel, Steve Souza, Paul Bostaph, Larry LaLonde, Anthrax's Charlie Benante… and that's just the start.
To give the movie some cred, it's directed by Adam Dubin. Longtime Metallica hardcores might recognize the name as the dude who directed the excellent 1992 doc, A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica.
